The agency's primary duty is to serve the interest of our clients as an advocate in the insurance marketplace and as a confidential advisor on the management of the risks of professional practice. In October, 1997, PPIB brought its professional liability expertise to Hilb, Rogal and Hamilton (NYSE: HRH), joining its network of over 70 insurance offices across the country.

We apply this expertise through continuing efforts to develop and deliver unique services and information resources of great value to our professional and consulting clients.

We are pleased to have been selected by CNA as its 1996 Broker of the Year and to participate in its A/E Choice advisory program. In addition, we
were selected by underwriters at Lloyds of London to consult on the development of A/E Select, attorney Select, and other specialized insurance programs through a unique Lloyd's facility dedicated to serving professionals in the U.S.
's principals and staff routinely participate in the activities of professional societies at local, state, and national levels. This support not only includes areas of interaction with the insurance industry, but active participation in committee and staff efforts in areas, such as governmental relations, in which PPIB's specialized knowledge and expertise can usefully be brought to bear. The Assoc. of Environmental Professionals and California Chapter American Planners Assoc. have named PPIB as their recommended broker for member firms.
